We've got a classic "exotic animal on the loose" story from Tuskegee, Alabama, where a pet kangaroo caused absolute havoc on I-85.
At this point he was just hopping along with the traffic, eastbound from Tuskegee to Auburn!
Unfortunately, this Aussie caused quite the backup on the highway when a couple of cars wrecked to avoid the critter.
You're not going to believe who this kangaroo belongs to.
The adventurous marsupial, some have named Shelia, belongs to Patrick Starr.

Yes, that's really the owner's name. Patrick Starr.
According to Alabama State Troopers a minor two-vehicle crash involving the kangaroo occurred around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, on I-85 near mile marker 46 in Macon County. State Troopers say the minor crash happened when vehicles slowed down to avoid the animal. Fortunately, everyone is OK. Both southbound and northbound lanes were temporarily closed as ALEA Troopers and the kangaroo's owner worked to recover the animal.
Sheila is back home and a team of Auburn University vets checked on the 'roo to make sure she wasn't the worst for wear.
'She's well, she's safe, and she's grounded,' said Starr. 'I'm so thankful to everyone who slowed down and made sure she didn't get hurt. So glad everyone is safe.'
Honestly, it could have been a lot worse for everyone invoved.
I'm sure from now on Patrick will double check the locks on Sheila's gate!
