The best medicine for tense meetings between world leaders is laughter. I think.
Things were already put on edge when a moose, likely named Bullwinkle, tried to enter Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, ahead of the meeting there between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Despite the imminent threat, both Trump and Putin managed to safely land in their respective jumbo jets.
President Putin touched U.S. soil, ready to face his most difficult challenge yet: Navigating the maze of white senior citizens who gathered along Anchorage roadways with a dazzling display of N-95 masks, cardboard signs, and Ukraine flags.
Trump, for his part, did a little trolling by flying a B-2 bomber right over Putin's head as they met (extra credit points if that was one of the B-2s that blew up Iran's nuclear program this summer!).
Putin did his best to stand next to Trump without looking like a dwarf, but alas.
