There was a brief panic that rippled across social media on Monday night.
Can you imagine why?
As it turns out, the footage is fake (which is what they want you to believe, right? ð)
But for real, the footage is actually fake.
From the NY Post:
âĶa closer examination of the clip showed things were not quite right - with a pile of orange prison clothes strewn about the ground looking like orange puddles without any texture, while the door to the jail cell did not match the one in Epstein's real cell.
And it soon was revealed in another dumped document that the clip was in fact a fake video that circulated on 4chan and was flagged by investigators by a Florida conspiracy theorist.
You can find copies of the video that were uploaded five years ago. Take this one from "Chad Chaddington" that was uploaded in October 2020.
The video was included because it had been submitted as a "tip" to the feds, so it was archived, even though it was a fake. Since Congress passed a law demanding a dump of all the files, the public was given fake stuff on top of real stuff (including a gazillion redactions).
