I can't stop laughing at the way the wokies devour themselves.
[Warning: Language]
(I don't think she knows that many rockets are powered by liquid oxygen and hydrogen, two of the most abundant resources on the planet, if not the universe, and emit primarily water as exhaust)
That's not all:
Earlier this month, actress Olivia Munn also criticized the trip while talking with Jenna Bush-Hager on NBC.
I know this is probably obnoxious, but like, it's so much money to go to space, and there's a lot of people who can't even afford eggs.
...
What's the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it's a bit gluttonous. Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?
I'm all for criticizing publicity stunts, especially the fourth-wave feminist girlboss kinds, but I'm sure people said the same thing about ocean travel or airliners or the wheel.
Blue Origin is aiming to make space tourism affordable and mainstream.
Think about this: 24 years ago, businessman Dennis Tito became the first tourist in space. He reportedly paid the Russians $20 million ($36 million today).
Blue Origin currently charges $200,000 to $1.5 million per seat (it doesn't disclose prices but a $150,000 deposit is required).
Like the invention of the automobile, the more wealthy people get interested in a technology, good, or service, the more money that industry has to replicate and streamline their processes, which drives down cost. That's good news for people like me that drive a secondhand minivan and have cut back on eggs to save money.

Consider SpaceX. NASA used to charge more than $50,000 a kilogram to launch payloads onboard the shuttle. SpaceX currently does it for $2,000 or so a kilogram, with the goal of reducing that as low as $10-$20 per kilogram in the next few decades.
That kind of scalability and cost effectiveness makes things possible. Things like going to Mars in just a few short years. Limitless new innovation.
Celebs launching into space isn't just a headline for the tabloids: It's a signal to everyone with money to invest in the space race, which would exponentially transform ... well, everything.
But don't let that stop the woke ladies from complaining! It's great entertainment!
PS - I'd love to see what 2015 Katy Perry has to say to 2025 Katy Perry!
