The "Big Beautiful Bill," passed earlier this year by Congress and signed into law by President Trump, creates new work requirements for able-bodied adults. In order to continue receiving tax dollars for SNAP benefits, individuals must work or train for at least 20 hours per week.

The ongoing government shutdown may also halt or delay SNAP and EBT benefits beginning in November, leavings tens of millions without "free" food.
The welfare recipients have taken to social media to let Americans know they are upset by this change.

Some are even threatening violence unless their fudge rounds continue to be provided to them free of charge.
