The IRS to all the desperate Americans who tried to pay the government on Tax Day:
People spent all evening looking at their computer screens, desperate to pay so the Sheriff of Nottingham doesn't come knocking on their door to collect.
The system did reportedly allow credit card transactions ... for an exorbitant fee, of course!!
Meanwhile, many Americans are struggling to pay King John his pound of flesh. Taxing people's productivity (income) instead of their consumption (spending) makes the government no better than a mobster that forces his neighbors to pay "security" at the point of a gun.
The treasury secretary refers to this robbery as "customer service."
ABOLISH THE INCOME TAX.
