It's no surprise that the CIA is trying to recruit members of the Chinese Communist Party to become spies for the U.S. government.
What IS surprising is that they're bragging on social media about it.
The CIA has created two videos in Mandarin explaining how to contact the CIA via the dark web and become turncoats.
‘One of the primary roles of the CIA is to collect intelligence for the president and for our policymakers,' CIA Director John Ratcliffe told Fox News exclusively. ‘One of the ways we do that is by recruiting assets that can help us steal secrets.'
The first video is aimed at senior-level party members, and the second at junior-level members.
Both promise security for the spies and their families, and both end with the phrase,
Take your fate in your own hands.
The videos are live on all the CIA's social media channels, including Facebook, Youtube, and X.
