According to reports coming from Germany and Saudi Arabia the man who drove a car into a German Christmas market was wanted in his home country.

Nearly a year ago, his home country reached out to Germany asking to extradite the man identified as Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, to face charges in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia requested the extradition of the suspect, named under German law as Taleb A., but Germany had not responded, the sources said.

They said the man was a Shiite Muslim who comes from the city of Al-Hofuf in eastern Saudi Arabia. Shiites are a minority in the country, making up only around 10% in the majority Sunni nation.

While some sources from Saudi Arabia say Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, who is now responsible for at least five deaths and hundreds of injuries, was a Shiite Muslim other reports are that the man was not religious at all and had completely renounced his Islamic faith.

Translation by @AD_GQ: 'Reports suggest that the perpetrator of the Germany attack is a well-known fugitive traitor named Talib Al-Abdulmohsen. He fled from Saudi Arabia, where he is a wanted individual, and was granted asylum and citizenship by Germany, which refused to extradite him to Riyadh under the pretext of human rights and freedom of expression. He repaid this favor today by committing a massacre. Europe is destroying itself from within.) End.'

According to other reports, the 50-year-old doctor expressed anti-Muslim sentiments and was an atheist.

He was prominent in the Saudi community in Germany as an anti-Islam and women's rights activist โ€” running a website and social media channels dedicated to those causes, the Journal reports.

On his website, he warned prospective refugees to eschew Germany due to what he perceived as the government's tolerance of radical Islam.

So ... a radical pro-feminist, anti-Islam Saudi who was mad that Germany was becoming too friendly to radical Islam committed a terrorist attack to protest the country who took him in and protected him from extradition.

But, of course, this may be all a front.

Honestly, there's just so much we don't know, but the one thing we do know is that he managed to kill at least 5 and injure hundreds in a terror attack at a Christian event.

Our prayers continue to be with the people of Magdeburg.
