Find yourself someone who loves you like Gavin Newsom loves Gavin Newsom.

The current governor of California is alleged to have used a secret fund to contribute to the nearly $100,000 bronze bust of himself placed inside of San Francisco's city hall to commemorate his awesomeness.

'Fool's Gold: The Radicals, Con Artists, and Traitors Who Killed the California Dream and Now Threaten Us All', written by Susan Crabtree and Jedd McFatter, alleges that Newsom arranged for a bronze bust of himself to be sculpted inside City Hall to commemorate his term as mayor, using funds he controlled.

Newsom then allegedly feigned ignorance of the identity of the private donors who funded the bust, as well as some uncertainty about its design.

Newsom was probably involved because the bust actually looks like him. If he wasn't involved he would have been Dwayne Wade'd. 😂

I mean, look at this thing. It looks like what Newsom imagines himself as in his fantasies!

My favorite part of this whole thing? The quote he almost certainly chose.

I'm sure this is to commemorate his illegal gay wedding ceremonies performed in the 2000s as Mayor of Frisco.

According to the California Fair Political Practices Commission, Balboa Cafe Partners donated $5,000 in 2016 toward the mayoral bust, and PlumpJack donated the same amount. Newsom is involved in both companies.

The H B and Lucille Horn Foundation also donated $10,000 at Newsom's behest.

Yeah, so that's at least 1/5 of the fund Newsom has direct or indirect involvement with.

What an ego monster!
