βTis the season for politicizing Jesus!

Ah, yes, the "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were undocumented migrants" argument. That old saw.
More from the New York Post:
St. Susanna, a Catholic church in the Boston suburb of Dedham, displayed a Nativity scene outside the church with an empty manger and a sign that says, 'ICE was here,' followed by contact information for a group that monitors immigration operations in the state.
Father Stephen Josoma, the pastor at St. Susanna, said the church's peace and justice group organizes a display annually.
Josoma told Fox News that they 'try to see what would it be like if Christ was born into the context of the world today, what would he be facing?'
Well, for one, they probably wouldn't be illegally crossing the border into a foreign country. IN fact, Joseph and Mary were literally traveling to Bethlehem specifically to comply with the law and register for the Roman census. Kinda flies in the face of the whole argument, but don't let that stop you, padre.
The church reportedly has a track record of using the celebration of God's greatest gift to mankind to preach leftist political talking points. π
Josoma has become known for making waves with his Nativity scenes over the last decade. He and the parish peace and justice group have made statements on mass shootings, global warming, and immigration issues in previous years.
So Baby Jesus wasn't just an illegal alien, he was passionate about the entire liberal agenda. Imagine that!

Though complaints have been submitted to Boston's archdiocese, no official steps have been taken regarding the display.
What are the odds that next year's Nativity scene features Baby Jesus in rainbow-colored swaddling clothes?
