In perhaps its biggest discovery yet, the Department of Government Efficiency announced that it found an estimated $4.7 TRILLION in Treasury payments to … somewhere.
Unfortunately, the fact that these payments were "missing a critical tracking code" means they are now virtually untraceable.
So, yeah. Only $4.7 trillion. No big deal.
DOGE boss Elon Musk chimed in to congratulate his team on catching — and closing — the loophole:

Considering the fierce pushback Musk and DOGE have received and the aggressive attempts to prevent them from having access to the Treasury Department, it's only natural to wonder if there may be some powerful people out there who were very much opposed to these types of "untraceable" payments being discovered — and ended.
Almost as if these people had something to lose.
