Not the Bee exists to highlight stories that are too crazy for satire. We have the biting, somewhat caustic tone of happy warriors who are shining light on the absolute stupidity of sin in our world.
We might make fun of certain groups more than others, but it is not because we hate our fellow man. It is because we see their bondage to sin and Satan and want to save them and others from beliefs and actions that lead to death. We mock the idols and demons that are leading people astray in order to break through the hold that these things have on people's minds, in order to rescue them (Proverbs 24:11).
As Ephesians 6 says, "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens."
Even non-believers are coming to understand that the battle for our world is spiritual.
We take our role as the little bro of The Babylon Bee seriously. We know that Christ says people "will have to account for every careless word they speak."
Today, on this Holy Sunday - here at the crux of history - we're taking a pause from clown world to reflect on the absolute victory of Jesus Christ.
Today we take a break from informing you of Satan's battle lines and poking fun at demons to celebrate the best news in the universe. Celebrate today, my beeple, for Christ has done it.
