Remember how NYC Mayor Eric Adams was talking very loudly on the international stage about the failure of President Biden's immigration policy (AKA "let everyone in at all once"), and even planned to go to the White House to discuss said policy, but now he's been hit with multiple scandalous accusations?

Chaser:
The rape allegation news dropped on Thanksgiving morning while everyone was watching the Macy's parade in NYC.
The accuser, whom The Post is not identifying because of the nature of the allegation, named Adams as a defendant along with the NYPD's transit bureau and Guardian Association in a lawsuit filed late Wednesday.
Adams was an NYPD officer at the time and the filing said the woman also worked for the city.
"Plaintiff was sexually assaulted by Defendant Eric Adams in New York, New York in 1993 while they both worked for the City of New York," claims the 3-page summons, which does not give more detail on the alleged assault.
I'm not going to go full Alex Jones on you here. Perhaps Adams was taking bribes from the government of Turkey and maybe there is truth to this sexual assault allegation. He's innocent until proven guilty and I have no evidence to make a judgement even if I were a wokie who doesn't believe in such basic constitutional rights.
But doesn't the timing of it all seem rather odd?
Adams was a generic leftwing guy in our coverage of him from his 2022 inauguration until the beginning of 2023. That's when he started to make a stink about migrants, especially over the summer.
The mayor has been very vocal about the immigration problem in America's largest city.
That's led to other deep-blue megacities complaining about the problem, which is a big no-no for Democratic Party leaders.
So yeah, maybe call me crazy, but New York has a precedent for getting rid of leaders who no are no longer useful to the Party. People always joke that Democrats don't get investigated for crimes unless they are declared persona non grata.
And that seems like a funny joke until you see how people like Gov. Andrew Cuomo were ousted on sexual assault allegations instead of his unconstitutional, tyrannical, arguably-corrupt handling of Covid.
I'm just saying: It all seems a bit mob-like to me, and whether Adams is guilty of these crimes, it feels like the guy has been declared "excommunicado." Prove me wrong!
