In the book of Genesis, you may be familiar with the story of Jacob and Esau.
After a day out hunting, Esau comes home starving and really wanting something to eat. He finds his brother Jacob with some tasty stew and Jacob tells Esau he's welcome to have some, for a price.
Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, 'Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.' Therefore his name was called Edom. But Jacob said, 'Sell me your birthright as of this day.' And Esau said, 'Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?' Then Jacob said, 'Swear to me as of this day.' So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
Esau traded his birthright, his guarantee of a future for himself and his progeny for a bowl of stew.
When you were a kid you may have chuckled at Esau. How short sighted can a person be? Couldn't he just make his own stew? Was he really so focused on himself that he gave up his inheritance?
But in America 2024, this may hit home more than we realize. And it's no laughing matter.

Diversity is our strength. Immigrants bring such delicious foods with them. We can't close the border, taste and see how good this meal is.
There's a meme that goes around every time a liberal posts about how much they love open borders because they have so many food choices.

Are we so consumed with these superficial benefits of a rich and diverse culture, and a tasty variety of food, that we've forgotten the tremendous costs of replacing our population?
Consider this story we published a month ago:
Americans are losing jobs to legal foreigners.
Then we have millions and millions of illegal immigrants hired under the table. The cost to American workers, the poorest and most vulnerable blue collar Americans, is incalculable.
This doesn't include the crime from illegal immigrants. And no matter how many bogus leftist "studies" show that migrants commit fewer crimes than citizens, there's the undeniable fact that every crime committed by a migrant, legal or illegal, is preventable.
None of these crimes had to happen. But we've allowed ourselves to be guided by our bellies, of all things. Gluttony and wanting a diverse palate is used as an excuse for limitless immigration.
Generation upon generations of Americans have bled and died for this country. For you and your children. Your grandparents and their grandparents sacrificed all that they had.
Are we going to be able to leave a country for our kids and grandkids? Or would we rather continue to find our strength in diversity?
