Trump's vendetta against holdovers from the Justice Department that waged years of lawfare against him is not over, as he ordered his DOJ to "clean house" of all remaining Biden-era U.S. Attorneys.

The president made the announcement himself in a post to his Truth Social account late Tuesday afternoon:

This latest purge follows previous moves to clear out what many believe had been the most politically weaponized Justice Department in American history.

As reported by the New York Post:

Just one month after Trump was sworn in as the 47th president, his administration fired dozens of federal prosecutors who were directly involved in the prosecution of more than 1,500 individuals who stormed the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

At least 15 career officials were reportedly reassigned at the agency, including one who pushed for the FBI raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, to roles with less influence on the department's major decisions.

The Justice Department also axed a number of officials involved in former special counsel Jack Smith's prosecutions of Trump.

Yes, it's fair to say President Trump has a score to settle.

Though critics have decried Trump's handling of the DOJ as "revenge," after years of questionable indictments, raids on his home, harassment of his family and associates, and sham trials…

… can you blame him?
