Ladies and gentlemen, may I present Clown World: The British Isles.
Narinder Kaur is an Indian-British TV personality made famous by the reality TV show Big Brother. She says the clip was taken out of context.
The gentlemen in the clip is Thomas Skinner, who recently got attention for celebrating St. George's Day like a good Englishman:
Kaur was born in the UK, but consider this:
Imagine that your parents moved to India and you were born there. As an adult, you go on Indian TV to tell an Indian man that waving his national flag is not "inclusive" and it needs to change in order to create a more equitable and welcoming nation.
Do you think anyone would take you seriously?
The Red Cross of St. George has been the English standard for nearly 900 years. It's first use may have been an English fleet in the Mediterranean in 1190 AD, but was certainly in use as the distinguishing mark of English soldiers by the reign of Edward I in the following century.
You know, this guy, from Braveheart:
Imagine going to Nigeria, China, Lebanon, or Thailand and telling them that their flag, customs, symbols - their very identity! - must change because you don't feel accommodated.
They'd have one reply for you:
