This is a real thing. It's not a Babylon Bee headline. No, I am not lying to you!

This actual clown is named Julian Munro and goes by "King Julez." She seems to be a woman, though she identifies herself as trans in blog posts.

This is how West Hill United Church in Toronto describes "King Julez":

Julian Munro a.k.a. King Julez is currently an MDiv student at Emmanuel College, pursuing ordination within The United Church of Canada. They are the present chair of Affirm United/ S'affirmer Ensemble, while also a drag artist, taking form as a drag clown. Julian identifies as non-binary (pronouns - they them)

And like I said, Julian is an actual clown:

Drag is how I found myself and how I connect to my true and authentic being that exists within my soul. In the last year or two, I have since shifted to doing Clown drag which is what you see now. Clowns have no gender and are silly figures meant to bring fun, laughs, and build bridges between people. I really embody that philosophy.

Julian likes to talk about her "authentic self" (I'm sure Satan is glad to see clowns believe in his philosophy of self-actualization). She also posts on her Facebook page about "intersectionalism," highlighting her dedication to neo-Marxist philosophy.

West Hill United made it into The New York Times in 2019 because they have a female pastrix who doesn't actually believe in God!

Really, that's no joke! Not only does she not believe in Jesus Christ, but she's an avowed atheist.

Despite being an outspoken atheist, Ms. Vosper has steadfastly maintained her place in the United Church of Canada, which with two million followers across the country is Canada's pre-eminent Protestant church.

'This is my church,' said Ms. Vosper, 60. 'The United Church made me who I am.'

She has her own website and everything!

She's also married to the music director, Scott Kearns, who I assume gave us that lovely introduction in the video.

This sermon illustration is transformation ...

Yes, watch this service change from church into a literal clown show in every way imaginable.

I was deeply privileged to experience Julian Sandy Rose's presentation in becoming King Julez at the recent drag and spirituality conference...

Is it called that because literally everyone attending is being dragged to hell?

It was such a powerful, intimate moment for me as a part of the audience for that to feel like I was being invited into somebody's intimate transformation and having the privilege of having that narrated to me as the observers.

(The "they/them" pronoun usage is really the icing on this heresy cake.)

To "Julian" and this "church": God does love you and calls you to repent. Pick up a Bible and read it if you are angry with me showcasing your clownness.

Anyway, good luck trying to beat this, Babylon Bee!
