This is both insane and hilarious.

They already grabbed the guns, now they're taking the machetes!

This is the appropriate response, in case you were wondering 👇

The ban goes into effect September 1, but an amnesty period where machetes can be dropped off in these bins will last until November 30.

You see that penalty?

Lesson: When they take the guns, they'll take the knives too. And if you don't follow the rules like a good citizen you'll be punished accordingly.

And look at this, Jacinta Allen's government has given Victoria Police more power to search you.

With this ban comes an exemption for farm workers.

(Can't wait until farmers have to show their licenses to buy shovels.)

Meanwhile, I have a feeling that the people who like to use machetes to hack people to death (the Victorian government won't dare mention this group) will keep their machetes to hack off limbs.

Good thing there aren't any other objects/tools that people can use to kill and steal ... right??

Keep up the great work, Australia!
