VICE really just ran this segment celebrating a 6-year-old drag kid
· Nov 9, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Dude, I'm just gonna give you the Libs of TikTok clip of this, because I ain't dropping an 18-minute drag kid piece on this page aside from this hyperlink right here. Yes, VICE spent 18 minutes covering this 6-year-old drag queen because apparently this stuff is important.

Dude, what do I even say to this?

This is disgusting. It's quite odd. And it's the work of Satan.

Here's VICE's description, cuz I honestly don't want to give the details myself.

Meet the 6-year-old "baby drag queen" Lulu LovelyTwirls. At just 4 years old, Asa began a journey that would lead him to become possibly the youngest drag performer in the world. VICE travels to Omaha, Nebraska to meet Asa, the young boy behind Lulu, and dive into the controversies surrounding his unconventional talent, while uncovering the thoughts and reactions of his family, community, and local politicians.

Gross, dude. Gross.

Not only does VICE celebrate this child abuse, but they go on to demonize Libs of TikTok, who posted a video of Asa dancing in drag at a Nebraska brewery, which, obviously, was met with controversy online.

Asa's mom explains:

I took him to go perform. It was an amazing performance. [A couple days later] I opened up a link and it was a post from Libs of TikTok of Asa's performance that they had screengrabbed from somebody else. Libs of TikTok is conservative and I just go "oh f***, Aaron, I don't know what we're going to do."

It eventually went viral…horrible things being said about us. They were adding the governor, adding the FBI. Initially we tried to be very secretive because we knew living where we live that there could be controversy.

Controversy, huh? You think people are going to find it controversial that you're dressing your 6-year-old in drag and having him perform for adults? Because you're right. That is very controversial.

Another great quote from mom:

The other misconception is that [drag] is something nefarious and dirty. It really is no different than anything that happens at a dance recital.

I'm sorry, but that's either incredibly evil or just plain stupid. No other explanation.

The VICE piece goes on to describe the difficulties this family has living in an area where dressing your kid in drag and having him perform for adults is controversial. Very sad stuff, this VICE reporting. I can't imagine how tough this is on the family.

An absolute joke. And to think I used to consume VICE stories on almost a daily basis. What a disgusting transition that outlet has made.
