This is simply unacceptable in hockey.
Never - and I mean NEVER - do you break up a goalie fight - especially if it hasn't even started yet!
As for all the referees here:
Bro, fans live for hockey fights, and the craziest, most unhinged players on the ice are the goalies.
And you're going to break up that fight????
We haven't seen a goalie fight in the NHL since 2020! And a fight between Boston's Jeremy Swayman and LA's Darcy Kuemper would've been one for the ages.
Pink slips immediately for those refs.
