My father, as the one processing the paperwork, put my grandmother down as his mother. And so I am illegal in this country, my parents are illegal here in this country.
Why would you admit this on camera in a state legislature?
What's the point? Would you do this in literally any other nation? Would any other nation on the planet (outside a few liberal Western ones) allow it?
"My family illegally slipped over the border of [Insert country here] and raised me in your nation illegally. Then, I got myself appointed as a lawmaker so I could influence the culture, rules, and traditions of your country!"
