The media often buries stories like these. We will not show the deranged video he uploaded to YouTube before the attack, but have selected and reviewed parts to help build a profile because it is in the public's interest to know what kind of ideology drives people to shoot kids.

In a disturbing image from his manifesto, he drew a church, then stabbed a knife through the picture.
He also had a gun target with Jesus' face.
In his last video, he mentioned Brandon Herrera (prominent GunTuber) and SHOT Show, a massive annual gun show, demonstrating a deep interest in the firearms industry.
He also hated equity firm BlackRock, religious people, had anarchist leanings, wore pigtails, and had unicorn and Trantifa stickers on his manifesto notebook.
Mary Westman, reportedly his mom, had worked for the Church of the Annunciation. Her name is on his name-change record.
In his farewell letter, he told his family he was sorry, said he was afraid of dying of cancer, and was suicidal.
