Remember when all of the "Evangelicals" who were just too pure and holy to vote for Trump used Billy Graham to slam the president?
Well, nearly one year after the ad, and months after the election ended, Evangelicals for Harris (renamed Evangelicals for America after Harris' defeat) has decided they need to issue an apology for their misuse of the reverend's words.
They issued this overly long and very complicated apology which, I'll be honest, I don't expect you to read.
The long and short of it is that they used these clips of Billy Graham, but didn't get permission from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) to use them in their political attack ads.
To avoid being sued into oblivion for lifting these clips and using them for partisan purposes to support an abortion-loving Democratic candidate, they've apologized.
The BGEA is being very lenient towards Evangelicals for America for their copyright infringement, to say the least!
