Report: UAW reaches tentative deal with GM, all Big 3 automakers now onboard

Detroit autoworkers are going back to work.

According to Reuters, the strike is ending as GM has reached an agreement with the United Auto Workers union.

The accord follows deals reached in the last few days by the union with Ford Motor (F.N) and Chrysler owner Stellantis (STLAM.MI), in what amounts to significant victories for auto workers after years of stagnant wages and painful concessions made by the union following the 2008 financial crisis.

The details of the deal haven't been released, but it is being touted as a win for the union.

For most of us, the question is: What does that mean for cost?
