Jared Isaacman, a tech entrepreneur and commercial astronaut who has been renominated to lead NASA by President Trump, spoke at a Turning Point event at Auburn University last night.

Stare directly at this:

I can tell you, having gone to space twice and looking back on our planet, looking at the stars around us, it is very hard not to be spiritual. But it was only recently, in the last couple weeks, that I was inspired for the first time in a very long time to pick up the Bible.

And I'll tell you why. It's because of Charlie. And it's for Charlie. And there's millions others just like me.

The sheer size, complexity, and beauty of Creation makes people wonder if there is a Creator, or if there is an invisible spiritual world behind the foundations of our physical universe.

Many people stay there, content to be spiritual without ever knowing God. But then Charlie Kirk, a man who claimed to know God, was murdered.

That act demonstrated that evil exists. Morality isn't a subjective societal standard created by eons of natural selection preferring cooperative traits, or some other mumbo jumbo you often hear from intellectuals.

Evil is real. But if such a phenomenon exists beyond our physical world, then something or someone must be behind it. And yet, the universe contains multitudes of beauty - the hands of a master engineer and artist who could not create such beautiful things if he were evil.

So who is this creator? What does he want with us? Why is there evil in our world? How do we fight it?

Charlie Kirk believed the answers to that were in the Bible, a collection of writings across thousands of years of history that narrate God's plan to save humanity through the line of one man and one people group, as a testimony to all nations.

The next administrator of NASA is seeking to know God and his plans.

Are you?

'From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.' - Acts 17:26-27
