Despite her water breaking almost two hours before she was set to go on-air, CBS 6 Albany news anchor Olivia Jaquith decided to stay and complete the morning broadcast before heading to the hospital.

Did you catch the due date tracker in the corner?

I think its safe to say the folks in the newsroom were having fun with the excitement of the morning.

For how calm, cool, and collected she was during the broadcast, I expected that she must be a seasoned mom, but this was actually her first pregnancy.

Her son was born later in the day (thankfully, not in the studio).

Olivia's co-anchor, Julia Dunn, honestly seemed more flustered than the woman in labor. That may have something to do with the fact that she could find herself in the very same position in just a few more weeks!

News Director Stone Grissom said in a statement,

We couldn't be more thrilled for them. From her on-air pregnancy announcement earlier this year to running a half-marathon while expecting, Olivia has met every stage of this journey with grace and grit. Today was no exception. Olivia's passion for storytelling, love for her hometown, and commitment to our viewers have always been evident. We're overjoyed to soon welcome our newest (and tiniest!) member.

The best!
