It's well known that, much like Harry and Meghan, Alec Baldwin and his family adore good old-fashioned solitude. They just want to be left alone, you see. When it was announced that Alec would be charged in connection to the deadly shooting on his Rust movie set, his wife begged the media for privacy.
Hilaria Baldwin said this last year:
I want you guys to realize that we have seven kids, and you being here to escort them to school and to be there when they come home is not good. So, on a human level, you guys know I'm not going to say anything to you. You know that. So, please leave my family in peace, and let this all play out, okay?
It turns out that the ultimate way to ensure privacy for you and your clan of children while your husband faces involuntary manslaughter charges is to star in your own reality TV series.
"Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are inviting viewers into their chaotic home for a reality series airing on TLC in 2025," Variety gushed.
The show's working title is currently The Baldwins, but sources tell me it might be changed to Please, We Just Want To Be Left Alone, But Also Tune In Next Week For Details Of Our Bathroom Schedules.
Personally, I can't wait for the show. Look how totally chill and genuine and unrehearsed they are! Just your average 66-year-old husband with a 40-year-old wife and seven children who want to be left in peace.
People reported last November that Alec and Hilaria were "pitching a family reality show that would give an inside look at their life."
"They're excited but would only do it if it was an authentic portrayal of who they are as a family," a source told the outlet. "The kids all have such fun personalities and Hilaria and Alec know how much interest there is in their lives."
Not only are they opening their home to the world, but it was their idea in the first place!
Guys, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think they might want attention.
