Seven is definitely a lucky number for California mom Nauzhae Drake after she welcomed her fourth child on 7/7. All of her babies were born on the same day in different years. Her oldest, 6-year-old Kewan, was born in 2019, with younger siblings Na'Zaiyla, born in 2021, Khalan, born in 2022, and most recently, Kailowa who was born July 7, 2025.
Amazingly, none of the four labors were induced, all of the babies had different due dates, and they all arrived a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.
Drake told PEOPLE,
After welcoming baby number four, I was completely astonished by having four children born on the same day.
I was sad because I missed another one of my babies' birthday parties, [and] this would be the third one I missed due to being in labor. But I promised them I [would] make it up to them! It's still surreal that they all share the same exact day for a birthday, so it's like I have Christmas twice a year.
Her oldest is only six, and she's missed 50% of his birthdays because she was in labor! At least he got a baby sibling to make up for it every time.
Nauzhae Drake's plan was to get her older children guinea pigs for their birthday this year, but her body and baby said:
She went into labor while at the pet store, and it soon became clear that rather than continue with the birthday celebrations as planned, she would need to go to the hospital to celebrate another kind of birth day.
She did still get her kids two guinea pigs and a lizard, and honestly good for her to have the confidence to care for four kids under six, plus three live animals.
When she tells people about her kids' shared birthday, she says their first thought is that she must have multiples. But once she explains they were all born in different years, she says,
Everyone has told me to go and play the lottery.
I don't usually endorse gambling, but in this case, I think they have a good point because Drake has quite the track record in beating the odds.
