When police showed up at Westdale Middle School with a drug-sniffing dog for a surprise drug search, it wasn't a student who got busted.
It was the math teacher with a wallet full of cocaine.
According to WAFB news Virginia Somers swore the cocaine wasn't hers.
Officials said that Somers told them that the cocaine belonged to a friend who gave it to her at the LSU football tailgate Saturday.

But when officers searched her car, they also found a bunch of marijuana and pipes, so …
Anyway, Somers faces charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Somers has taught math intervention classes at the school for nearly a decade, which seems oddly appropriate considering the intervention Mrs. Somers clearly needed.
The school district sounds more than happy to oblige her that intervention, according to the statement they released:
This behavior is not condoned by our district and we remain committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free environment for all students and staff.
The district said the matter is being handled in accordance with its policy and procedures.
