The actor playing Grumpy in "Snow White" says he's "disappointed in the world" for the backlash that caused the premiere to be scaled back

Controversy surrounding Disney's upcoming live-action remake of its classic Snow White tale has one small member of its cast more than a little upset.

According to The New York Post, Martin Klebba, who provides the voice of the dwarf Grumpy in the film, is living up to his character's demeanor after it was revealed that the movie's premiere would be "scaled back," but he stopped short of blaming Disney.

The decision, first reported by Variety on Tuesday, was reportedly made due to the controversies surrounding its stars — Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot — as well as its treatment of the 'seven dwarves,' including the use of CGI to create the characters rather than live actors.

'I was a little disappointed,' Klebba, told The Post. 'I'm not disappointed in Disney. I'm disappointed in the world.'

Easy there, little fella.

Klebba said he understood the decision but still felt dejected to miss out on a big premiere.

I'm just still a little bummed because I was really looking forward to doing the red carpet.

So let's review. Klebba, who has dwarfism, is upset because the movie is controversial and is about to flop.

But other actors with dwarfism are upset because the movie used CGI instead of actors with dwarfism.

But one main reason they switched to CGI dwarves is because actors with dwarfism complained that they weren't exclusively using actors with dwarfism.

(The other reason Disney got rid of human actors is because everyone was either making fun of how diverse they were or saying they weren't diverse enough.)

Klebba understands we're in a new era where production companies are riding through the chaos of the culture war, though I'm not sure he opposes the woke stuff.

He explained, 'We've come to this place in society where people work really hard on this movie, where Marc [Webb], the director, is probably four years into putting this together, [along with] the producers and Disney, and just because a couple of people have views that not everybody feels the same way, now we're having to alter the fun part of making a movie, which is premieres.'

'So I'm a little bummed, but I understand it as well,' Klebba said. 'Disney is one of the greatest production companies of all time, so you gotta be really careful in today's world. So I see why they did it.'

Here's some free advice:

Disney could easily stop shooting itself in the foot if it just stopped listening to the shrieking voices of woke identity politics.

Just hire a bunch of actors who are the best dang actors for the role and look the part. Stop worrying about diversity ratios. Make them look short in post if you have to, and make sure they have good costumes.

Then, don't hire fourth-wave feminists who hate the source material, not to mention half the country 👇

Lastly, just make a fun, faithful adaptation of a fantasy princess movie that normal families will want to take their kids to.

A crazy thought, I know!
