I'm no conspiracy theorist, but when I hear two of the world's most infamous leaders talking about biotechnology and humans possibly living to be 150 it sort of makes my ears perk up.

How about you?

Putin: Biotechnology is continuously developing … human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become and you can even achieve immortality.

Xi: Some predict that in this century humans may live to 150 years old.

This scene comes from a military parade in Beijing today, where several world leaders, including North Korea's Kim Jong Un, met to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. This was the first time Xi, Putin, and Kim have appeared in public together.

A little context on this conversation from Politico:

China has a long history of organ harvesting from executed prisoners, which was officially banned in 2015. That hasn't curtailed the practice, however, with the government turning to targeted minorities for organs, including the Uyghers facing a genocide in the western part of the country.

Putin and Xi are both 72.

Last year, The Times of London reported that Kremlin officials had directed scientists to fast-track anti-aging research, focusing on cellular degeneration, cognitive decline and strengthening the immune system.

My heart is racing just reading this stuff. Fortunately, if my heart starts to fail, I can just go to China and get one of those prisoner hearts everyone keeps telling me about!

I'll leave you with this:
