This is truly the story that keeps on giving.
Remember the guy charged with driving on a suspended license who called into Washtenaw County's 14A District Court while driving?
And remember the shocking twist that he was reportedly the victim of government incompetence, claiming that a judge rescinded his suspension in 2022 and someone simply forgot to file the paperwork?
Well, now it turns out that he never even had a Michigan driving license to begin with.
I mean ... can you have a suspended license if you never had a license? If a tree falls and no-one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
"He has never had a Michigan license, ever!" said Judge Cedric Simpson.
"The person that needed to be blamed is the person that he was staring at in the mirror," Simpson added. "He didn't do what he should have done."
And at the end of the hearing, Harris got another surprise: a bench warrant for his arrest relating to a 2015 case of driving with a suspended license!
Maybe it's time to take the bus for a while?
