A fellow InfoWars reporter was murdered in Austin just this week.
Some of the influencers report that trolls are calling local pizza places before the swatting incidents to have pizzas delivered to their homes.
The reason for this?
Beyond the obvious prank, a pizza delivery is one way to confirm that your target is home.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) notes that these aren't harmless phone calls. People have been killed (see the 2018 case of Daniel Shaver) when local police have gone in hot, thinking there's a hostage situation or active shooting. Officers are also put in danger (how might innocent homeowners respond if someone kicks down their door?).
