The Arkansas tornado, meanwhile, was bad enough that authorities issued a tornado emergency, one of the most frightening weather alerts on the books:
As one local weatherman put it:
You need to be underground. You will not survive this tornado if you are above ground.

Thankfully, authorities are reporting. "fewer than a dozen injured despite significant damage to homes and some businesses."
