CNN got "booted" from the Pentagon and everyone is making fun of them for the nasty mess they left behind

CNN has lost its privileged access to the Pentagon.

In what was supposed to be a touching tribute to CNN's dedicated "journalists," Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr took this snapshot of the now-empty offices:

It was so gross that even the secretary of defense weighed in:

The rest of the internet chimed in as well:

For some context, CNN wasn't uniquely targeted: The Pentagon has a "Correspondents Corridor" that has been stacked (for years and years) with left-leaning outlets. This gives said outlets special access to defense department and military officials.

Pentagon spokesperson John Ullyot said it was unfair to smaller competitors to allow certain outlets to essentially park in the Pentagon forever.

As a result, the Trump administration rotated CNN, The Hill, The Washington Post, NBC News, NPR, The New York Times, and Politico out of their long-time offices. Competitors like Newsmax, The Free Press, The New York Post, and The Washington Examiner, which have largely been ignored by the leftwing regime, will replace them for a time. News outlets will now participate in the "Annual Media Rotation Program" to share access equally.

As for CNN ... should we be surprised by leftists leaving behind a mess everywhere they go?

Remember the aftermath of BLM riots?

And here's what the aftermath of CHAZ looked like:

What about the mess the anti-Israel protesters left behind at Columbia?

The photo got mocked so ruthlessly that Starr locked her X account:

Once they get that room cleaned up, perhaps they can put some real journalists in there!
