This isn't satire.

Yes, at 9:06 a.m. on Wednesday in Reseda, California, a fire department ambulance carrying a crash victim was struck by a gray sedan at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Lindley Avenue.
Then, at 9:46 a.m., a battalion chief and LAPD arrived on the scene to investigate the crash...
And the chief's truck crashed too!

The sole injury in this chain of events was the original crash victim in the ambulance (though it is unclear whether these injuries occurred as a result of that initial accident or during the ambulance collision).
Police and fire officials will run an investigation into the two crashes, and let's hope they don't have to drive anywhere to conduct it.
