Justin Schimpl was looting vehicles and homes in a South Florida neighborhood late last month when he suddenly heard a sound behind him.

Before he knew what was happening, he had been taken down and was on the ground waiting for the Cape Coral Police to arrive. And imagine the officers' surprise when they found their perp nicely gift-wrapped by none other than Batman.
Or at least a guy in Batman pajamas anyway.
According to Cape Coral Police,
Kyle Myvett, told detectives he had gone to bed when his home security cameras alerted him to someone breaking into his vehicle. Still dressed in his Batman pajamas, Kyle went outside to investigate and saw the suspect rummaging through his truck. Moments later, he found the same suspect in his neighbor's garage and detained him until officers arrived.
Schimpl claimed that there were other people with him, but Pajama Batman's testimony and a search of the area didn't corroborate his story.
And neither did the two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses, cash, a woman's wristlet, and more than $500 in gift cards Schimpl had lifted from the car and the neighbor's house.
Thanks to our pajama-clad Dark Knight, Schimpl was arrested on two counts of Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance (Unarmed), two counts of Petit Theft Under $750, and one count of Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling.
And now Schimpl knows,
