A 17-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday, accused of fatally shooting her mother and stepfather while they slept in their Carrollton home. TikTok videos posted by the teen after the murders appeared to be heartfelt pleas for support ... The TikTok post may seem innocent and even draw sympathy. But the dark reality is that it was created just over a week after 16-year-old Sarah Grace Patrick allegedly shot her mother and stepfather to death as they slept.
Sarah spent months crying about the deaths on TikTok, garnering sympathy.
Yes, she posted about how hard it was to lose her parents as she brought her sister to their church, Catalyst Church in Carollton, GA.
(Did I mention her 5-year-old sister found the bodies?)
Just over a month ago, Sarah sang about her mom on TikTok as she celebrated her high school graduation.
Sarah also spoke at her mom's funeral.

Neither the authorities nor the defense has released any details as to what Sarah's motive here might have been, but they are still looking for anyone else who may have been an accomplice in the case.
One more wild twist: A "true crime" podcaster says Sarah reached out to her in June to cover the murders:

Regardless, she now faces a double murder charge and will have her day in court.
Patrick is facing two counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault. She is being charged as an adult.
